Vaid sanctions reward for 37 police personnel

JAMMU, Jan 27: Director General of Police (DGP) Dr SP Vaid has sanctioned cash reward of Rs.1.85 lakh in favour of 37 police personnel of District Jammu for recovery of 15.37 kilograms of heroin at two different places.
Sixteen police personnel of Police Station Gangyal have been rewarded Rs 5000 each for recovery of 5.1 kilograms heroin and arresting of the accused persons involved in the trade. Those who were rewarded are SI Nayat Ali, ASI Nisar Hussain, ASI Rakesh Kumar, HC Sheetal Kumar, SgCt Ranjeev Singh, SgCt Mohammad Rafi, SgCt Sudesh Kumar, Constable Naresh Kumar, Constable Vikram Singh, Constable Arun Kumar, Constable Ravi Kumar, Constable Vikram Singh, SPO Mohammad Akram, SPO Baljjeet Kumar, SPO Joginder Singh and SPO Munish Kumar.
Twenty one police personnel of Police Station Gandhi Nagar have also been rewarded Rs 5000 each for recovery of 10.270 kilograms of heroin and arresting the accused persons. Those who were rewarded are SI Pawan Dogra, SI Madan Lal, PSI Sandeep Sharma, PSI Vicky Thapa, ASI Shesh Paul, HC Manmohan Singh, HC Sat Pal, SgCt Rajinder Singh, SgCt Harvindr Singh, SgCt Pawan Kumar, SgCt Suresh Kumar, SgCt Vikaram Singh, SgCt Mohammad Javed, Constable Shakeel Ahmed, Constable Rajesh Bakshi, Constable Narinder Singh, Constable Mandeep Singh, Constable Surjeet Singh, SPO Ranjeet Singh, SPO Pawan Singh and SPO Puneet Khajuria.
