JAMMU, Feb 2: The Unem-ployed Veterinary Doctors’ Association (UVDA) will boycott the screening exam to be held by JKPSC for 24 posts.
In a press release issued here, the association said that 24 posts do not suffice the job guarantee of 750 qualified veterinarians and therefore, they have decided to boycott the screening exam protesting failure of the Government in ensuring job security of qualified professionals and false promises made by the Ministry of Animal and Sheep Husbandry.
“The successive Govern-ments promised to clear the 420 new created posts suggested under ASH/PLAN-670/2007 and more than 200 posts under DPC but failed miserably. Despite assurance from the Chief Minister herself, nothing has been done so far”, the release said, adding the UVDA has to decide to boycott the screening to be held by JKPSC until the Government takes any positive decision.
It further added that the aspiring veterinary officers will march from exam centers to press enclave in procession.
