Utpal lashes out at NC leadership for spitting venom against Sangh

JAMMU, Apr 14:   Asserting that Panun Kashmir (PK) is the biggest weapon in the hands of nationalist forces to fight against the anti-national elements in J&K State in present context, Senior Rashtriya Sawayamsevak  Sangh (RSS) leader and  Prant Karivah, Purshottam Dadheechi today candidly admitted that  with its struggle during last over two decades the PK leadership has proven its mettle.
The RSS leader was addressing a function organised by Panun Kashmir in connection with the commencement of “Kashmiri Pandit Nirvasan Samvat-28”, at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra Anand Nagar Bohri .
Maintaining that the migrations in India have taken place from Ramayan and Mahabharta period and the publishing of calandars has been a practice of the past in India but observing the 28th year of in exile reminds us the tragedy which shook us 28 years back.
The function was presided over by Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President, PK. Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University-Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion while  Purshottam Dadheechi, and  Ashok Kaul, general secretary (Org) , BJP- were the guests of honour. Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsang Ashram and Utpal Kaul, Sr. leader-PK were the special guests on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Ashwani Chrungoo said that with the exile of Kashmiri Pandits from Valley of Kashmir Bharat Mata also stands exiled and in order to resettle it in Kashmir. Kashmiri Pandits need to be settled back in Valley with full dignity and honour and as per the Marg Darshan resolution of 2000.
He while criticising those leaders who make often repeated references to Kashmiriyat said Kashmiriyat is fundamentally a facade which has been coined to delink Kashmir from its past history and civilization which is the fountain head of the India Cultural ethos.
In his address Ashok Kaul said it was with PK initiative about the Vistapan Samvat  keeps every one on tenterhooks that we are in exile.
Utpal Kaul while turning tables on National Conference leadership for spitting a venom in Kashmir about RSS and BJP said it was the founder leader of the Party and former Chief Minister Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah who pleaded before the senior RSS leader of the State Dr O P Menghi to arrange his meeting with then RSS Sarsangh Chalak Balasahib Devros. Later the meeting was arranged by Dr Mengi in 1978 and Sheikh Abdullah sought support of Sangh for his Government in the State. It was because of NC that Kashmiri Pandits are presently in exile, he added.
Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University-Jammu in his address emphasized upon the need to strive for excellence in exile and excel despite all the challenges. Kashmiri Pandit boys and girls have made a mark in the institutions of higher learning in the country and abroad. Our youth today have to connect themselves with the struggle of the community to fight for it.s existence and political identity.
Five prominent people including  R.K. Raina, former President of ASKPC, Sardar KCS Mehta, Chairman-KSDF, Raju Bhagat, Cartoonist of State Times and Kashmir Times and Rakesh Tikoo, Prominent PK activist were honoured on the occasion.
Virender Raina national spokesperson PK also spoke on the occasion. While the stage was conducted by Opinder Kaul general secretary PK.
