USTA extends support to ‘Kaam Chodh’ strike on Jan 3-4

JAMMU, Jan 1:A meeting of J&K United School Teachers Association (USTA) was held under the chairmanship of Hari Singh,  provincial president,  to discuss and chalk out programme to make two- day   `Kaam Chodh’ strike a success.
Speakers strongly criticized the State Government for ignoring the most genuine demands as regularization policy for about 60000 casual labourers and workers and implementation of 7th Pay Commission in favor of Government employees.
The meeting in one voice support the two- day strike programme, announced by J & K Government Employees Casual Labourers, Workers and Pensioners Joint Plateform on 3rd & 4th January 2017 and appealed the Government employees, teachers, casual laborers and pensioners to participate in the programme.
Those, who attended the meeting, included  Rajeev Kumar, Raj Kumar, Sunil Thappa, Pardeep Singh, Madan Singh, Darshan Lal, Joginder Pal, Shanti Saroop Sharma and others.
