This has reference to the news item ‘US blocks USD 350 mm aid to Pak” DE July 22.
Better later than never. The Americans have started realising that unchecked Pakistan is going to be a big threat for the world as most of terrorism is exported from that country. Despite knowing fully well that Pakistan is promoting terrorism, particularly in India. America used to keep her eyes closed for her own political interests. To keep Pakistan in good humour, America extended it all possible help– military or financial. Had America realised the consequences of this municifence, it would have stopped extending aid to Pakistan in the very beginning. America kept extending largeese whenever Pakistan approached it on one pretext or the other. The money it extracted from America on the pretext of fighting terrorists, in reality used it for strengthening its military. The arms provided are to be used against India in case a conflicts breaks out between India and Pakistan. India had been insisting America not to provide arms to Pakistan, but American never listened. Now, it seems America has come face to face with reality, hence stopped the aid.
