Srinagar, Dec 3: An unregistered clinic was sealed by Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) Rajbagh area of summer capital here.
A spokesman of the Directorate said the unregistered clinic namely ‘Well Spring Clinics’ at Rajbagh was sealed following complaints against it. “The Directorate today sent a divisional level team comprising senior officers who sealed the unregistered In-Vitro Fertility (IVF) Clinic under PCPNDT and Clinical Establishment Act,” he said.
Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr Saleem ur Rehman said the Directorate had been receiving complaints against the clinic which was running illegally. He said that the department is acting tough on all the genuine and verified complaints. “Any illegal or unethical practice will not be allowed to flourish by the department,” he said.
The Director said that a divisional level committee is already constituted which is inspecting private health care establishments regularly so that better health care is provided to the patients under rules and regulations.
