KATHUA, June 9: United Kathua Football Club crushed Billawar Football Club by a big margin of 9 goals (10-1) in the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Football League of Kathua at Hiranagar Sports Stadium, here.
With this win, United Kathua Football Club sealed berth in the semifinals and will take on the winners of the quarterfinal match between Falote Football Club and Hiranagar Football Club.
Senior Advocate and social activist, Ankur Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion, while Dr Ajay Chrangoo, Advocate Anil Andotra, Advocate Rajat Sharma, Arun Jamwal and Gautam Sangra were the guests of honour.
The match was organized by Hiranagar Football Club under the supervision of Surinder Pathania.
Yash of United Kathua FC was the star performer of the match, who scored a hat-trick, which fetched him man of the match award.
