ULB elections: Kavinder joins campaigning

JAMMU, Sept 30: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta here today intensified BJP’s campaign in Gandhi Nagar constituency for Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections.
He was accompanied by Former MoS, Priya Sethi and Vinay Gupta, BJP Election In-charge, Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Gupta addressed a series of public meetings at Satwari, Model Town, Nai Basti, Jeevan Nagar, Digiana, Sanjay Nagar, Ratnu Chak and Nanak Nagar areas.
Addressing a gathering at one of the functions, Gupta said that funds meant for local bodies remained unused for almost 8 years leading to over 400 crore loss to Jammu.
Lambasting Congress, NC and PDP he said that these parties were not serious for the Local Bodies elections.
Priya Sethi while addressing the gathering appealed to the public to vote for the real development of the Wards.
At Satwari a prominent Congress activist along with his supporters joined BJP in presence of Gupta to support Pawan Singh who is contesting from Ward number 23.
