Udhampur-Reasi Range Level Sports Festival concludes

UDHAMPUR, Feb 16: Udhampur-Reasi Range Level Sports Festival 2017-18 organized under Civic Action Programme of Jammu and Kashmir Police was today declared closed by Alishba, daughter of Martyr SI Imran Tak at District Police Lines (DPL), here today.
During the closing ceremony, Alishba was accompanied by Rayees Mohd Bhat, SSP Udhampur, Additional SP Faisel Qureshi, DySP HQ Kameshwar Puri, DySP DAR Himmat Singh, SDPO Ramnagar Jagdev Singh Slathia, Ramesh Panotra, DySP and ADO RPHQ Udhampur, besides other officers/officials.
SSP informed that Range Level Sports Festival 2017-18 was organized as part of annual activity plan chalked out by Police Headquarters under Civic Action Programme.
125 youngsters of district Udhampur and Reasi (boys and girls) participated in 8 events which were played over two days. The matches were officiated by 23 officials drawn from the Department of Youth Services and Sports and J&K State Sports Council.
The final match of Volleyball (boys) was organized on the closing ceremony between GHSS Boys Udhampur and Malhar Club Udhampur, which was won by Malhar Club Udhampur.
In Kho-Kho final,  Govt. High School Sewna defeated Govt High School Malhar, while in Tug of War final, GHSS Boys Udhampur trounced Panchari Club Udhampur.
Finally, SSP presented vote of thanks.
