Two traffic cops among four injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Jan 10: Two constables of Traffic Wing of J&K police were among four persons who were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a traffic police Constable namely Darshan Lal (43) son of Vishwa Nath, resident of Parwah, Nagbani (Jammu) was injured while performing his duty at Amphalla, he was hit by a car.
Another Constable of traffic police identified as Mohd Nasib (40) son of Mir Mohd, resident of Rajouri was hit by a bike at Dogra Chowk when he was performing his duty. In the mishap, the left leg of the traffic cop got fractured.
A pedestrian identified as Sunit Talwar (58) son of SR Talwar, resident of Janipur, was hit and injured by a scooty at Janipur. A 16-year-old boy namely Sohail Ahmed, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Shopian, sustained injuries when he was hit by a Verna car near District Jail, Amphalla.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
