Two month-long coaching classes conclude

Srinagar, Mar 2: In coordination with the District Administration, the army today said it facilitated the conduct of tuition classes at four designated schools for more than 500 students from classes IX to XII of Baramulla district during past two months.
A defence spokesman said the classes were aimed at constructive engagement of the school students during the winter vacations and the four schools at Fatehgarh, Khwajabagh, Fatehpura and Binner in Baramulla were identified for conduct of tuition classes at zero-cost to the students.
“The two month long tuition classes were culminated with a glittering function at Government High School Khwajabagh and was attended by District Development Commissioner, civil administration officials, principals, teachers and about 500 students from the local school,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Major General RP Kalita exhorted upon the teachers and parents to ensure holistic growth of the students for all round development of Kashmir. While highlighting the focus of State Government towards Education Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash, DDC Baramulla thanked the teaching faculty for putting in sincere and dedicated efforts in conducting the tuition classes.
Essential stationery items and monetary incentives for Academic Enhancement were also disbursed to the students and the teaching faculty of the designated schools, the defence spokesman added.
