Jammu, Mar 14: Two promising fencers from the state of Jammu and Kashmir have registered their berth into the World University Games to be held at Italy.
As per reports fencers namely Mohammad Tariq and Tariq Hussain have been selected in the foil event (fencing) for World University Games scheduled from July 3 to 14 at Napoli, Italy.
Trainees of Fencing Coach, Rachna Jamwal, of J&K State Sports Council, fencers were selected during selection trials held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on March 14 (Thursday).
The duo will be representing Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in the competition.
