Two injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Jan 24: Two persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a youth identified as Raju (35) son of Jagat Ram, resident of Toph Sherkhanian (Jammu), was injured when a bike on which he was going on, was hit by an unknown vehicle at Dogra Chowk.
He said that another mishap occurred at Nagrota where a pedestrian identified as Babu Lal (85), son of Isher Dass, resident of Sear Baba (Reasi), was hit and injured by an unknown vehicle.
“Both the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment”, the spokesman said, adding, the concerned police had taken cognizance in both the cases.
