Two injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Feb 22: Police today said two persons were injured in two separate road accidents in Baramulla and Kulgam districts of the Valley.
A police spokesman said a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05C-8858 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05E-9323 at CMP Post in Singhbagh area of the district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Sukhbir Singh.
“The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a motorcycle bearing registration number JK22-2062 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Mohammad Irfan Chowhan Tangmarg in Kulgam district. “The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam wherefrom he has been referred to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
