Srinagar, May 24: Police today said two persons were injured in a road accident in Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A police spokesman said a Xylo vehicle bearing registration number JK09-5943 collided with a load carrier bearing registration number JK09-8455 near Jamia Masjid Kulangam in Handwara area of Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the driver of the load carrier identified as Mudisir Ahmad War and his brother Baber Ahmad War.
“Both the injured were shifted to the SKIMS, Soura for treatment.
Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
