Srinagar, Mar 14: Police arrested two drug peddlers in Achabal area of South Kashmir’s and recovered contraband substance form their possession.
A police spokesman said that acting on specific information, police laid a checkpoint at Achabal police station jurisdiction. “During the checking two persons identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Mohri and Nisar Ahmad Ganai were intercepted,” he said.
The spokesman said that during the searches, five kilograms grams of charas was recovered from their possession. “A case under FIR number 20/2017 under section 8/20 NDPS was registered and investigation was taken up,” he added.
