REASI, Nov 20: Two days Athletic Meet organized by District Athletic Association Reasi under the aegis of J&K Amateur Athletic Association concluded at General Zorawar Singh stadium, here today.
On the occasion, Advocate MS Mir, President Bar Council Reasi and DFA Reasi were the chief guests, who awarded the players in presence of members of the Association.
In U-14 boys (100 meters) Sumit Rao, Madhav Singh and Ajay Singh bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 600 meters, Sumit Rao, Gourav Rao and Ajay Sharma clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-16 boys (100 meters), Datar Singh, Vishvas and Prince bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 800 meters, Aditay Singh, Tarun Nargotra and Sunil Singh clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-16 High Jump boys, Sunil and Tarun secured first and second positions respectively, whereas in U-16 Shotput boys, Ajay Singh, Vijay Kumar and Rajeev Singh bagged first, second and third positions respectively, in U-16 Long Jump boys, Datar Singh, Vishwas and Manjeet Kumar bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-16 girls (100 meters), Tanvi Kohli, Kajal Sharma and Manisha bagged first, second and third positions respectively, in 800 meters, Shivani, Manisha and Pavneet Kour bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-16 Long Jump, Diksha Devi secured first position and Kajal Sharma clinched second place, in U-16 High Jump, Diksha bagged first prize, In U-16 Shotput, Shivani Thakur, Tanvi Kohli and Rashmi bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
The event was conducted under the supervision of Romesh Kumar Sharma Technical Advisor and Observer J&K Amateur Athletic Association and Technical Official Opinder Pal Singh, Technical Advisor District Athletic Association Reasi and Supporter Athletic (Khelo India) Reasi Anam Khan.
The event was conducted under the overall supervision of President District Reasi Athletic Association Manu Partap Singh.
Among others present were Jag Dev Singh and Arun Dev. Rahul Bakshi, Consultant District Athletic Association was the Organizing Secretary of the competition.
