Two apprehended for smuggling bovines

JAMMU, Sept 1: Domana police apprehended two bovine animals and rescued 16 milch animals from their possession.
As per police sources, police team from Domana police station intercepted two persons carrying flock of bovines on suspicious grounds by foot.
During questioning, the persons failed to give satisfactory reply and were arrested on the spot.
The accused have been identified as Mohammad Farooq, son of Bashir and Munnu, son of Billu Gujjar, both residents of Bawetaleb, Kanachack. They were carrying the bovines by foot to dodge the police, but their attempt was thwarted by the active cops of Domana police.
A case under FIR Number 270/15 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered against the accused at police station Domana and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana police station Inspector Rajinder Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
