JAMMU, Dec 12: Table Tennis Doubles Championship in the men’s category was held at the Table Tennis Halls of KC Sports Club, here today.
Twenty two members from the different wards of the Society as well as Club members participated in the tournament with immense zeal and competitive spirit.
At the end of the preliminary fixtures, Sandeep Sharma beat Ashish in the first semifinal by 10-8, 10-6, while the second Semi-final was played between Karan Gupta and Sourav in which Karan emerged winner by 10-9,6-10 and 10-7.
The final match between Sandeep and Karan turned out to be a cliff-hanger and eventually Sandeep Sharma won the final by a margin of 10-8,10-9 and emerged as champion. Sourav Bhall finished third in this Championship.
