JAMMU, Mar 21: Rich tributes were paid to CRPF jawan Mohite Suraj Surje Rao of 121 Battalion, who attained martyrdom in encounter with militants at Kathua yesterday.
Deputy CM Dr Nirmal Singh, DGP K Rajendra Kumar, IGP CRPF Kuldeep Dhar and large number of CRPF personnel laid wreath on the body of martyr at Civil Airport here and paid tearful adieu to the brave jawan.
All the ranks of CRPF present on the occasion expressed their resolve to continue fight against the terrorism. Martyr Mohite Suraj Surje Rao is the resident of District Satara (Maharashtra) and he joined CRPF in the year 2013 as constable general duty and was posted in 121 Bn CRPF deployed at Kathua.
