JAMMU, Dec 4: Paying respectful homage to martyr Chuni Lal of 55 Rashtriya Rifles, in a brief function held here, today on his 9th death anniversary, the Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association members said that he had left an indelible mark of heroism before he laid down his life in a militant flush out operation in Kashmir’s Pulwama Sector on December 4, 2007.
Association members also paid tributes to the brave officers and soldiers who lost their lives in recent terror attacks of Nagrota and Ramgarh.
Prominent among those in the function were R L Kaith, Rakesh Lakhotra, Karnail Chand, Dhian Chand Lakhotra, Inder Singh, Sachin Kaith, Ajay Bassa, Ankush Kaith, Ravi Mohan, Prince Kumar, Kartik Kumar, Harsh Vardhan, Vikar Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Raman Kumar, Sahil Kumar, Aman Kumar and Birbal.
