JAMMU, Mar 6: Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today assumed the charge as Minister for Power Development and Housing and Urban Development Departments.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said the new Government is steadfast on the resolve to provide a transparent and responsive administration in the State and all out efforts would be initiated to address aspirations of the people. He said the Government would work for overall peace, progress and prosperity of the State.
“We are well aware of the expectations of people from the Government and we will leave no stone unturned to address the same,” he added.
On the occasion large number of people from different walks of life called on Dr. Nirmal Singh and extended greetings on formation of new Coalition Government in the State.
The delegations from rural and far-flung belts of Billawar area also called on the Deputy Chief Minister.
The delegations from Ramkot, Gujru Nagrota, Bhiaya, Thara Kalal, Ghura Kalal, Phinter, Deoli and other areas projected different demands pertaining to their respective areas.
