SRINAGAR, Mar 3: Traffic Police City today held a one day traffic awareness workshop at Women’s College M.A. Road Srinagar in collaboration with Kashmir Road Safety Foundation (KRSF).
A Police spokesman said the aim and objective of the workshop was to orient participants about the road safety measures and to follow traffic rules for better traffic system in City Srinagar.
He said the workshop was attended by teachers and students of the college during which they were given basic education and orientation about the traffic rules & norms.
“SSP Traffic, Tahir Saleem Khan delivered detailed lecture on traffic system and its management in Srinagar. A lot of queries of teachers and students were cleared. Moreover, a presentation on Road Safety was presented by chairman Kashmir Road Safety Foundation,” he said, adding, “R.J Nasir of Big 92.7 FM also participated in the workshop and the event concluded with the distribution of certificate among participants.”
