Traders end hunger strike

SRINAGAR, Oct 29: Hundreds of flood-hit traders today ended their hunger strike on the assurance of Deputy Commissioner that their demands would be sympathetically considered.
The Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Shah visited Lal Chowk, where the traders were on hunger strike, and offered them juice.
The agitating traders were demanding rehabilitation in the aftermath of devastating floods.
