JAMMU, June 28: As top notch companies visited CT Group of Institutions for placements in session 2015-16,   934 students got placements in all sectors including Management, IT, Engineering, Agriculture, Architecture, Pharmaceuticals and more.
Selected candidates were offered the packages starting from Rs 1.8 lacs to Rs 6.06 lacs per annum.
Placement drives were made by international giants, including TCS, Igate, Aon Hewitt, HCL Technologies, L&T Constructions, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Collabera Technologies Pvt Ltd and other top brands.
Around 1365 students from several streams  availed the golden chance of appearing in these placement drives. In total 934 students were recruited after passing through rigorous selection rounds comprising of online Aptitude Test, Written Test, Group Discussion, Technical Interview and HR Interview.
Students who have cracked a hard nut expressed their cheer by saying that getting recruitment in a top notch companies is a dream come true for them. Now they will infuse best of their efforts to impress their company officials with their hard work and wit. Dr  P S  Bedi (Director Campus, CT Group of Institutions) said, “We always ensures that students ever remain job ready by imparting them training of global standard, yet students are also encouraged to choose entrepreneurship as a career. This year, many students were seen opting out of the placement process to start their own ventures. We have Entrepreneurship Development Cell to train and excel our students in starting up their own-business ventures. So, before bringing students and the companies together, CT Institutions students are provided with many services to groom them for enhancing their employability and entrepreneurship values.”
S  Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) said “The vigorous nature of placement processes provides adequate flexibility to both students and recruiters. I would like to share that as a part of the corporate social responsibility, we also keep on inviting students from other colleges and universities for joint placement drives to provide students of this region chances of employment along with our students.”
