Top HM commander surrenders in south Kashmir

SRINAGAR : A top commander of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) surrendered before security forces in south Kashmir district of Pulwama early this morning, official sources said.
They said a close associate of Burhan Wani, most wanted commander of HM in south Kashmir, Tariq Pandit surrendered before the security forces in Pulwama.
Pandit was also seen in the group picture with Burhan, which was widely circulated on Social Media.
About a dozen militants of the group were killed in different encounters by security forces in south Kashmir during the past about six months. (AGENCIES)
