Top chefs call on PM Modi

NEW DELHI, Oct 25:  Members of the Club des Chefs des Chefs (Club of Presidential  Chefs from across the Globe) called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today.
Members of the club, which comprises personal chefs of the heads of state of  two dozen countries, posed for a group photograph with the Prime Minister, and  presented him with mementoes.
Later tweeting about the meeting, the PM said ”Met some of the most decorated  Chefs, serving heads of states of various nations, during an interaction with Club  des Chefs des Chefs (CCC).”
It has been informally described as the world’s most exclusive gastronomic  society.
Montu Saini, chef to the President of India and four other chefs including Ms.  Cristeta Comerford, chef to the U S President and Mark Flanagan, chef to Queen  Elizabeth of the United Kingdom, will whip up a feast for a charity dinner scheduled  tonight to raise funds for the Kailash Satyarthi Foundation-India, a charity headed  by Nobel Peace prize winner, and the Jaipur-based Princess Diya Kumari Foundation.
The Paris-based Association is currently holding its general assembly in India,  for the first time. Besides Delhi, the chefs will be visiting Agra and Jaipur as well, an offiicial release here said.
