JAMMU, Nov 4: International working president Vishaw Hindu Parishad (VHP) Parveen Bhai Togadia today expressed his dismay over the continued discrimination to which Jammu region has been subjected to under the present PDP-BJP coalition Government.
The VHP leader, who reached here yesterday on three days tour of Jammu, while talking to reporters this morning, expressed his concern that the Jammu region continued to face discrimination even when BJP is also the part of the governance in this border State.
While strongly criticizing the BJP, he said it has miserably failed to end discrimination with this region and provide justice to people who continue to face disparity in Government services and other spheres of life as the Party has failed to come to the expectations of the people of this region who had attached much expectations with it.
He said even this region continued to get a raw deal in allotment of funds for development and contrary to the expectations of the people this has not changed in the present regime also. He stressed on equal development of all three regions of the State including Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh saying every region should get its due share.
The VHP leader reiterated that his party is committed to strengthen Hindutva forces in this State and continue to fight for their cause.  “This does not matter which party is ruling in the State”, he added.

Togadia in response to a question said that those who talk of Azadi and self rule should go to Pakistan and they have no right to stay in the State.
In response to another question that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had said that no one will take Tricolour in hand if Article 370 is abrogated, he said Mehbooba should show concern for her chair as there will be crores of Indians led by him (Togadia) to take tricolor in their hands.
Expressing his strong concern over the illegal settlement of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis in this region of the State, he said VHP fully endorsed the demand of Jammu people that the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis be deported from here immediately.
Dr Togadia said Rohingyas have come here illegally and they are not the political  refugees as is being claimed by certain political parties. “They have illegally settled here under a big conspiracy to change the demography of this region which at no cost will be allowed”, he said.
He demanded that these people be immediately thrown out from the State as they can be a security threat in this trouble torn State after establishment of their connections with anti national elements. “Moreover, what security and refuge people of Jammu can provide them when they themselves feel insecure due to terrorism which has grip the State for last three decades”, he asserted.
On the Centre’s special representative Dineshwar Sharma to hold talks with stake holders in Kashmir, Dr Togadia said that he will salute him if he can ensure dignified return and rehabilitation of Hindu migrants to Valley within three months who were forced to flee from there over 27 years back by the terrorists and agents of Pakistan.
“No talks are needed to be held with the Pakistani agents in Kashmir and Sharma should give priority to Kashmiri Pandits and ensure their return and rehabilitation in Valley. The agenda of talks should only be the dignified and honoruable return and rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley”, he added.
Strongly advocating for abrogation of Article 35 A and 370 of Indian Constitution, he said this is the only solution to Kashmir problem as these two articles are a barrier and  cause of present mess in the State. “With the abrogation of the Articles, the people of other parts of the country can purchase the land here”, he added.
He said those taking up AK-47 in their hands in Kashmir and talk of converting Kashmir into Syria should take a lesson from Syria where no Muslim house hold is safe at present. He said India is capable of withstanding all such misadventures as it has a strong army and it is high time for security forces now to crush the terrorists with strong hands.
