Tiny Tots School celebrates 18th Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 16: Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School Roop Nagar celebrated its 18th Annual Day.
On the occasion, Member Parliament Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas was the chief guest. Chairperson of the institution Veena Handa was the guest of honour, while State Secretary Deepak Handa and Director Dr Vikram Handa presided over the function.
The program began with the description of Indian History with ancient medieval and modern periods. The introduction big-bang theory with a dance performance “Antriksh and origin of species” enthralled the audience. The various stages of early man with Harrappan civilization was beautifully displayed by junior wing students.
The Hindu epics of Ramayana and Mahabharat were enacted by the students of senior wing. The play on “Chanakya and his disciple” was much appreciated by all which was followed by “Aryabhatta” act. The skilled orators of junior and middle wings spoke much on the different dynasties of medieval India. They also supported their theme with charts and playcards. Nobody could stop clapping their hand and thumping their feet on the dance performance of “Khilji dynasty”. Bhakti and sufi movements of this period was exhibited by the acts and dances on Guru Nanak and Mira Bhai.
The most awaited royal court of Mughal period was depicted by the students of senior wing. Finally the program moved to the modern era of history with the arrival of Britishers in a beautiful play “Freedom movement”. When talked about Nation, one can never forget Mahatma Gandhi whom was highly remembered by juniors paying ‘Shraddanjali’ to him.
Young toddlers and star kids section also sang and danced on their favorite patriotic rhymes and songs. The culture and traditions, and the amalgamation of model and digital India was showcased by the students of Senior wing in the mind blowing dance performance which was fusion of Rajasthani, Punjabi, Dogri, patriotic songs.
The best part of the programme was the anchoring done by the students of junior and senior wings.
Principal of school Deepali Handa highlighted the achievements of the institution. She said the school made commendable progress in a very short span of time.
On the occasion, merit holders were honoured.
