LONDON, Jan 27: “Ride Along 2” star Tika Sumpter has revealed that she got engaged to the father of her newborn baby daughter on Christmas Day.
The 36-year-old actress, who welcomed her three-month-old daughter Ella-Loren in October with her fiance, has not yet revealed his name, reported Femalefirst.
When asked about the ring on her engagement finger while appearing on “The Real”, Sumpter said, “He did all of these amazing things. I went on a little hunt in the house. And I was like, ‘Oh, he’s going to propose’… It was a Peloton (indoor) bike he bought me. I was like, ‘Oh, that’s cool!’
“And then he had a letter behind Ella and he’s like, ‘Ella has something to say to you.’ And it was just this letter of beauty. And then he proposed. It was just simple and just awesome.”
Earlier, Sumpter also chose to hide her pregnancy for seven months because she wanted to enjoy the experience all by herself. (PTI)
