JAMMU, Feb 3: Tik Choram, the birthday of Mata Tripur Sundri was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at K P Sabha here, today.
On the occasion a Maha Yagya was organized by the members of Tiku, Munshi and other communities at KP Sabha. A large number of devotees attended the function and paid their obeisance to their presiding deity on the occasion.
A big size portrait of Goddess Triupursundri was also installed in the Sabha premises by H N Tiku advisor K P Sabha and M M Munshi during the function. The devotees were served with prashad after puranahuti.
Mr Tiku while speaking said in order to have contacts a directory of Tikus and other castes will be framed soon.
