JAMMU, Jan 28: Three persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a pedestrian identified as Showkat Ahmed (30), son of Mushtak Ahmed, resident of Chinore, was hit and injured by a speeding scooter at Jewel area of Nowabad.
A man identified as Tara Ram (40) son of Gurdas Chand, resident of Chak Salerh, received injuries when the bike on which he was going on, was hit by a Balero vehicle. In another incident at RS Pura, a pedestrian namely Balbir Singh (45) son of Gian Singh, resident of RS Pura, got injured after being hit by a unknown vehicle.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
