Three injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Apr 12: Three persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Surjeet Sharma (68) son of late Amarnath Sharma, resident of H No 485/A Gandhi Nagar, was hit and injured by an unknown vehicle at Mandir-Masjid point near Dogra Chowk.
A pedestrian identified as Shazadi (10) daughter of Mohd Shokit, resident of Bypass Nagrota, got injured after she was hit by a speeding car near her residence.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist suffered injuries when an unknown vehicle hit his two-wheeler on Jammu-Akhnoor Road near Sua No 1. The injured was identified as Ashok Kumar (45) son of Sain Dass, resident of Bawa Tallab.
All the injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
