Three injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Jan 5: Three persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a pedestrian identified as Mohd Sultan (40) son of Imran Dar, resident of Kokernag and at present residing in Shalamar area of Jammu, was hit and injured by an unknown vehicle here near Mahajan Hall.
A pedestrian also got injured in Sidhra area when a speeding Tavera car hit him. The injured was identified as Kali Ram (60) son of Tipu Ram, resident of Bajalata. At Vikas lane in Talab Tillo area, a rashly driven mini-bus hit a bike and seriously injured its rider namely Jagandeep Singh (30) son of Kamaljeet Singh, resident of Talab Tillo.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where condition of Jagandeep was stated to be critical when the last reports came in. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
