JAMMU, Dec 9: Three persons were injured when two groups clashed in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the supporters of winner Sarpanch candidate (Panchayat Jagti), Abha Jamwal clashed with supporters of opponent Veena Devi at village Dhanni in Nagrota area when the former took out a rally in front of the house of Veena Devi and beat drums.
The supporters of both candidates attacked each other with stones in which three persons received minor injuries. They were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and discharged after providing treatment.
Meanwhile, two counter FIRs have been registered against both the groups at police station Nagrota and investigations were underway.
