Srinagar, Dec 6: Police today said it arrested three drug peddlers from various places in Kupwara district of north Kashmir and recovered charas from their possession.
A police spokesman said that the arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Shabir Ahmad Mir, Waqar Ahmad Zargar and Abdul Rashid Mir and from their possession, four kilograms of Charas has been recovered.
“A vehicle number DL3 CAT 2560 used by the peddlers has also been seized. Cases under NDPS Act have been registered and investigation is in progress. More arrests are expected,” he said.
