Srinagar, Feb 8: Police arrested three drug peddlers from Safapora area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and recovered Spasmoproxyvon tablets and bangpatri from their possession.
A police spokesman said during naka checking, a police party of Police Station Safapora headed by Station House Officer Jaspal Singh intercepted the three peddlers namely Ubad Ahmad Baba, Irshad Ahmad Baba and Bilal Ahmad Dar.
“On search, 430 tablets of Spasmoproxyvon and 800grams of bangpatri were recovered. Police have registered a case under Section 8/21 NDPS Act and investigation was taken up,” the spokesman added.
