JAMMU, Apr 17: Three members of a family were booked today by Khour police for assaulting a woman and her daughter.
Quoting the complainants, who were identified as Dano Devi wife of Rattan Lal, resident of Narayana and her daughter, Pooja Devi, a police spokesman said that their relatives namely Sohan Lal and Rakesh Kumar, sons of Sarban Ram and Soma Devi wife of Sohan Lal, all residents of Narayana, beaten them mercilessly with fists and blows after they exchanged heated arguments over some land issue.
The spokesman said that on the statement of the complainants, a case under relevant sections was registered against the trio and investigations started.
