POONCH, Aug 7: Thousands of pilgrims paid their obeisance at Shri Budha Amarnath Ji shrine at Mandi in district Poonch Today.
The Holy Mace (Chahhri Mubarak) led by 1008 Swami Shri Vishavatmanand Saraswati ji Maharaj arrived the shrine last evening, where Management Committee of the Shrine and locals of the area besides Army officers and others accorded grand reception.
On the special day of `Raksha Bandan’ about 30,000 devotees paid obeisance at the shrine of Lord Shiva at Mandi. Elaborate arrangements had been made by the Management Committee of the Temple Shrine and local Administration for the smooth conduct of Yatra. Three Langars had been arranged by the locals and the Military-Paramilitary units of the area. Many devotees left for their respective destinations after performing Pooja on last day of the Yatra.
Charri Mubarak will return to Dashnami Akhara Temple at Poonch tomorrow morning where a grand concluding function will be held under the chairmanship of Swami Ji. The entire district administration including DC and SSP, local legislators and brigade commander will also attend tomorrow’s function at AKhara Mandir, Poonch from 8 am to 10 am.
