JAMMU, May 2: Thieves decamped with cash and gold items from a house in Vinayak Bazaar area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad police station.
As per police sources, thieves barged in the house of Vinod Kumar Gupta at Vinayak Bazaar and decamped with Rs 7 lakh cash and gold ornaments worth several lakhs.
The owner of the house, who is a lawyer by profession, has reported the matter to police.
A case in this regard has been registered at Nowabad police station and investigation started.
