JAMMU, Feb 15: City police arrested a thief and recovered stolen motorcycle from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from City police station arrested a thief and recovered stolen motorcycle bearing registration number JK02P-6665 from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Surinder Kumar, son of Jagdish Chander, a resident of Akhnoor.
He was arrested in a case registered under FIR Number 10/17 under Section 379 RPC with City police station.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO City Inspector Shakti Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Vivek Shekhar and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
