LONDON, Dec 6: Comedian Ricky Gervais “doesn’t see the point” in marrying his partner Jane Fallon, as he believes they are married in all ways apart from “in the eyes of God”.
The 55-year-old star, who has been in a relationship with the author since 1984, has revealed that they don’t believe in the institution of marriage, reported Femalefirst.
“I just don’t see the point. We share everything. I mean we are married, apart from in the eyes of God, which neither of us believe in.
“That’s ridiculous, that law. I mean, how more married can we be? But we don’t want a big do. We don’t want our families to meet! No, I’m joking – we know each other’s families, that’s fine,” he said. (PTI)
