JAMMU, Dec 1: Hotel Asia is coming up with 10 days Thai Food Festival at his Oriental Restaurant “Yangtse” and is all set to add some unique and new flavor for Jammuites from 2nd December, 2016 till 11th December, 2016.
Thai Cuisine is one of the most popular Cuisine of world. As per Chef Naresh Dabral – Executive Chef of Hotel Asia, “Thai Cuisine” is the perfect blend of Chili hot Spice like Galangle, Birds eye chili sourness of lemon grass, Cafer lime and Tamarind, nutty flavor of Coconut and peanut and delicate Aroma of Basil. The spiciness of Thai cuisine is well known. As with other Asian cuisines, balance, harmony and variety are of great significance to Thai food. Thai food is known for its balance of three to four fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: sour, sweet, salty, and bitterness.
This time we are serving authentic Thai food with the culinary art of Chef Kroong Tana Nimnu a Master Chef from Bangkok. He is having more than 15 years of expertise in Thai Cuisine.
Some of the signature dishes are Tom Kha Kai( creamy coconut and chicken soup), Som Tam (raw papaya salad), Tod man pla ( Thai fish cake), Klooy Goong (crispy sheet wrapped chicken), Thai corn cake, Gui chay ( green herbs and chives cake) , Thai red curry home style, Sour fish southern Thai style, Thai green curry, Stir fried egg plant with yellow beans, Pad Thai noodle (5mm), Wok rice noodle(10 mm), Basil fried rice and few mouth watering dessert like Tam Tim grab(water chest nut in coconut cream) Peug Cheum a caramelized Taro root dessert, sticky rice with mango sauce and vanilla ice cream etc.
