JAMMU, Feb 1: Jammu and Kashmir Tennis Ball Association is holding selection trials for senior men and women State teams on February 3 and February 4, 2017 at Green Field ground, Gandhi Nagar, here.
The men and women teams will be selected and screened on February 5, 2017 by the Screening Committee of Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council.
The selected teams will participate in the Senior Men and Women Tennis Ball Cricket National Championships, being organized by J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association, under the aegis of Tennis Ball Cricket Federation of India.
The Association has advised the players desirous to participate in the trials to report to Narotam Singh at the said venue at 11 am sharp on February 3, 2017.
The selection trials will be held under the supervision of Peer Javaid Iqbal and Insha Hassan.
The Association has extended thanks to Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Waheed-Ur-Rehman Para for providing ground and allied facilities to hold this mega event in a befitting manner.
The organizers informed that 20 teams across the country have already confirmed their entry in these Championships and claimed that around 25 State teams are expected to participate in this sporting extravaganza.
