JAMMU, May 18: The Tech Fest “Nirvikalpa-2K16” concluded at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), a prestigious technical institution of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI).
On the valedictory function, Choudhary Lal Singh, Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment, was the chief guest, while Er Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, JGEI, and Er Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI were also present on the occasion.
The welcome speech was delivered by Dr Seema Narain, Director, YCET, in which she highlighted the salient features of the Technical Fest.
In his eloquent speech, Choudhary Lal Singh called upon the budding engineers to work diligently and scale greater heights in their professional career and life.
Some of the highlights of the programme conducted on day two were Nritya the Paper Dance, Yaro Ki Yari, Make the AD, Ek thi Kahani, Bollywood Mirchi, Tambola, Fun Cricket, Push Upsand Technical Dum Charade, and Shatranj. The events and fun activities went on simultaneously in laboratories, seminar hall, auditorium, class rooms and in the ground.
The highlight of the valedictory function was ‘Fashion Show’ which was superbly performed by the students and won standing ovation from the hilarious crowd. The other cultural activities of the day were Skit, Bhangra and Western Dance under the supervision of Senior Faculty Arti Tickoo.
YCET emerged as an overall winner in different competitions and events. The tech fest was an electrifying and memorable experience for one and all.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks presented by AK Kaul, TPO.
