SAMBA, Jan 11: A large number of teachers held protest, here today.
The teachers assembled in the premises of Zonal Education Office Samba under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
They alleged that the degree obtained by them under five year tenure as ReT teachers are not being entertained by the ZEO Samba.
“We met CEO Samba twice and he had asked the ZEO Samba to consider the degrees, but the latter is not paying any heed and forcing us to come on roads”, they added.
They warned to intensify their protest if their demand is not redressed.
