JAMMU, Jan 4: Teaching community of Akhnoor has constituted their body under the name and style of Teachers Forum Tehsil Akhnoor.
Rajinder Singh Jamwal has been unanimously elected as chairman of the body and Ashok Prohit as its president.
Ranbir Singh was elected as general secretary, Parshotam Sharma as convenor and Tarsem Lal as senior vice-president while Mohinder Singh, Hardeep Singh, Jaivir Singh, Ajay Sharma, Ravinder Singh Chib, Rakesh Sharma were nominated as vice-presidents.
Hans Raj Sharma was appointed as chief spokesperson while Kamal Dass, Pawan Kumar and Rajeev Kumar were nominated as spokespersons. Suresh Sharma, Balwant Raj, Devinder Bakshi and Rakesh Kumar were appointed as additional general secretary while Surinder Kumar, Rakesh Takiya, Surinder Kumar, Ranjit Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Karandev Singh, Dwarka Nath and S Jatinder Singh were nominated as secretaries of the Forum.
Abdul Wahid, Sandesh Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Mangesh Kumar were appointed joint secretaries. Dwarka Nath Arjun Kumar, Kasturi Lal, Pankaj Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Mohan Lal, Brij Mohan and Sanjay Sharma were appointed as organizers.
The Forum has also constituted its advisory board comprising Sanjay Kumar, Chander Udhay, Jatinder Singh Jamwal, Dr Sat Pal, Pardeep Kumar, Pritam Lal, Rakesh Kumar, Subash Chander, Babu Ram. Rahul Dutt, Pardeep Kumar Sharma, Ram Saroop, Sat Pal and Ashok Kumar as its members.
