SRINAGAR, Aug 20: Cueists Tauseef Dar and Aqib Farooq were among seven winners on day-1 of 25th Srinagar District Senior Snooker Championship, being organised by Srinagar District Billiards and Snooker Association, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association, here.
In the first match, Tauseef Dar defeated Asif Ali by (52-48, 56-28).
In other matches of the day, Junaid Bashir drubbed Sameer Bashir by (53-28, 28-30, 50-11), Zuhaib Bashir trounced Saqib Ahmed (39-21, 28-30, 55-15), Sajad Sultan got the better of Azhar Najar by (59-31, 48-50, 56-20, Aqib Farooq outplayed Imran Hakeem by (56-30, 30-46, 59-29), Sheikh Umer beat Adnan Wani by (26-46, 53-51, 39-29) and Mudassir Hamdani prevailed over Momin Maqbool by (46-21, 51-48).
