RAMNAGAR, Apr 25: Government Higher Secondary School, Chowki Jandrore, Ramnagar organized a symposium on the topic, “Importance of Education and Facilities Provided by Government of Jammu and Kashmir,” here today.
8 students participated in the symposium, wherein Principal Roni Kumar was the chief guest, Sarpanch KC Tripathi was the guest of honour.
Shamsher Singh and Birbal acted as judges, while Kajal Bharti of 10th class claimed first place and the second and third place went to Renu Devi of Class 10th and Priyanka of Class 6th.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Manohar Lal, Charan Dass, Rohit Sharma, Kanchan Sharma and Bandana Devi.
Meanwhile, Government High School Kalwanta also organized a symposium in which members of the school from within the zone participated. ZEO Kalwanta, Mansa Ram was the chief guest on the occasion, while the function was presided over by Headmaster Jagannath.
The first , second and third place went to Shiv Dev Singh, Anju Devi and Santosh Kumari respectively.
Headmaster Government Middle School Kaitha Jugal Kishore was also present on the occasion.
