SRINAGAR: State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) raided the house of Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) and recovered cash, discarded currency, gold ornaments besides ownership documents of plots in Punjab and central Kashmir, official sources said on Sunday evening.
They said SVO personnel raided the house of an ARTO in the uptown Srinagar. During the raids SVO recovered over Rs 32 lakh, discarded currency about one lakh, gold and documents of plots in Punjab and central Kashmir district of Badgam.
Later SVO also raided a close relative of ARTO details of recovery was awaited, they said. SVO, Kashmir, has registered a case, they added. (AGENCIES)
